MEET OUR STAFF

Todd and Katherine Stout joined the Camp Grace staff in 2018; however, they have been volunteers with the ministry since 1994. Todd is serving as our Executive Director, and Katherine is our Kitchen Manager. They have been married 35 years and have four adult children and one grandchild. Todd graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master's in Church Music and has served the Lord in the local church, in the roles of Associate and Senior Pastor since 1982. Katherine graduated from the same school with a Master's in Christian Education and has served the Lord as a teacher in both public and private schools. Their love for CBM began with Released-Time in their children’s school.
John and Chita
Martens
John and Chita Martens joined the Camp Grace staff in 2006. John was our Director of Facilities before retiring, and Chita works as a camp medic and manages our camper Bible correspondence lessons. They have been married for 35+ years and have two adult sons who are both serving with the full-time staff here at Camp Grace. John and Chita served as foster parents and have now adopted two more girls, Destiny and Bella. John is a retired Maintenance Technician with Eckerd, and Chita was a registered nurse, having retired her license in 2024. In their free time, John loves to tinker, and Chita enjoys candlemaking, yardwork, and gardening.


Mark and Katelyn
Martens
Mark and Katelyn joined the staff in 2017. Mark graduated from Piedmont International University (now Carolina University) with a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Ministries. Katelyn graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a Bachelors of Science in Counseling/Psychology. Mark fills the roll of camp director, meaning that he is in charge of day-to-day operations. He is integral in summer planning and making certain that the camp has the staff and the funds it needs to function. Katelyn volunteers with the camp, helping in the Refuge (camp store) and anything to do with camp decorations. Mark loves to play board games, and Katelyn loves anything to do with art.

Timothy
Martens
Timmy Martens is no stranger to anyone around this ministry, as he joined the full-time staff at Camp Grace in 2017. Timmy grew up here at camp and has served since he was 11 years old (in 2006); he was first hired as a photographer during the summer and has been serving ever since. He is a graduate of the CBM National Internship program and serves as our Program Director. He is a socialite who just loves being with people, but when he finds himself some alone time, he enjoys creative writing or snuggling up with a good book.


Jonathan
Hill
Jonathan joined our staff as a full-time missionary in 2025. He is a Robeson County native and has held various positions in the local church as a youth pastor and an interim pastor. He has worked as a member of summer staff since 2020.
In 2024, he graduated from Robeson Community College with a professional degree in pharmacy and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Herzing University. He also has certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, CPR, and First Aid. He serves as our Released-Time Director and works as a camp medic during summer camp.
In his leisure time, he enjoys playing piano, gardening, and writing.
Ryanne
Stout
Ryanne joined our staff as a full-time missionary in 2024. As the daughter of Todd and Katherine, she is well acquainted with both missionary and camp life. She has held various roles in ministry, most recently serving at Little Lambs Orphanage in Guatemala. At Little Lambs, she did administrative work and trained horses for their horse therapy program.
Here at Camp Grace, Ryanne serves as our office manager, along with many other administrative capacities.


Elizabeth
West
Elizabeth joined our staff as a full-time missionary in 2025. She is a native of Evergreen, NC, and has served at Camp Grace as summer staff since 2023. Known for her friendly demeanor, Elizabeth easily strikes up conversations with everyone she meets.
In 2024, she graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a degree in Studio Arts. Currently, she is attending Anderson University to study the Bible. Additionally, she is a certified lifeguard and holds certifications in CPR and First Aid.
At Camp Grace, Elizabeth fills multiple roles, including Task Force Coordinator, Hospitality Director, Guest Group Coordinator, and Social Media Coordinator.
Brian and Denise Stephens
& Family
Brian joined our staff as a full-time missionary in 2024, along with his wife, Denise, and their two daughters, Mary and Goldie. They also have two adult sons, Christopher and Jeremy.
In addition to his role at Camp Grace, Brian actively serves in his church as a Sunday School teacher and has been a deacon for many years. He felt called by the Lord to preach, and soon after was led to Camp Grace, where he now serves as the Facilities Director.
Denise volunteers at the camp whenever needed and is always ready to lend a helping hand.


Rainey
Rowell
(Pre-Field Missionary)
Rainey is currently a pre-field missionary raising support to become a full-time member of our team soon. She is trusting that God will provide the necessary support by the end of summer camp in August. After that, she will work as our Head of Housekeeping.
Rainey graduated from CBM's internship program in 2021. Following her graduation, she worked in housekeeping at our National Headquarters in Townsend, Tennessee. God then led her to Camp Gilead in Polk City, Florida, where she held the same position until 2023.
In her spare time, Rainey enjoys spending time outdoors and painting.
