OUR FACILITIES

DINING HALL/CHAPEL

  • Our dining hall / chapel building is the most popular option for guest groups. The front windows and doors look out onto our main field. Rocking chairs line the back porch overlooking scenic Lake Blue.

  • Inside, our chapel area will easily seat up to 150 guests and our dining hall can be situated to handle the same amount around our conversation friendly round tables. Guest groups can reserve use of our professional, industrial kitchen or we can provide catering services through our Hospitality Director.

  • Amenities include a working fireplace, a sound system with microphones, an upright piano, an electric piano, a drum set, and dual projectors.

  • The Refuge was our first major meeting hall on the property. It is situated right in the middle of our outdoor activity cove and offers a more rustic feel for those who want a true camp experience. The building is screened in, but has a very open air feel.

  • A portable sound system can be provided by request but is rarely needed in this facility

  • The Refuge can comfortably fit about 100 people at long tables for meals. An industrial refrigerator and freezer, and a large grill is available for guest groups.

  • Guest groups looking for a picnic atmosphere or those that want to participate in our outdoor activities may find this building to be the best fit for their group.

  • The Refuge also houses our camp store and is a favorite stop of all campers during the summer. We sell candy, sodas, popcorn, nachos etc. along with camp souvenirs like t-shirts, water bottles, hats, etc. Guest groups are encouraged to schedule a little time for the camp store during their visit.

  • Our cabins are all block duplexes that sleep 13 people on six twin bunks and one single or double bed. There are five duplexes total for ten cabins overall. Each cabin has central heat and air, 2 private bathroom stalls, 2 sinks, and 2 private showers with changing areas. Guests will need to bring their own linens or sleeping bags.

  • The cabins are situated in two complexes on opposite sides of the main field. Both cabin complexes have a fire pit area that can be used by guest groups for private campfires or making s'mores etc.

  • Our RV camping sites are generally used by retired volunteers that are working at Camp Grace. However, they can be made available for guest groups that are staying multiple nights, or for travelers that are volunteering in the community.

  • In our main RV camping area overlooking scenic Lake Blue, we have seven 50-amp camping sites. For larger groups or if other accommodations are necessary, their are five additional sites in other locations on the property. Two of them are 50-amp camping sites and two are 30-amp camping sites.

  • Situated right on the shore of Lake Blue, our outdoor chapel and campfire is a beautiful meeting area whether it be day or night. Up to 200 people can comfortably fit  in our naturally sloped amphitheater and wheelchair parking is available.

  • Guest groups can request a bonfire and / or portable sound equipment. At night, our cross is lit with white lights and the scenery reflecting off of the lake provides a very worshipful atmosphere for any meeting.

  • Lake "Blue" is named in honor of Mrs. Elsie Blue who first requested that Children's Bible Ministries come to this area to teach the Bible to the children of the Lumbee tribe.

  • Lake Blue is nearly 15' deep in it's deepest areas and is fed by numerous freshwater springs. It is a beautiful area for boating, fishing, or just relaxing. Along the shore are a number of benches that provide quiet areas for reading or meditation.

  • All guests are welcome to fish if they bring their own equipment (catch and release only unless special permission is arranged). The lake is stocked with freshwater catfish, bluegill, and largemouth bass.

  • Boating is available for guest groups in two-hour blocks of time. We offer canoes, paddleboats, and paddleboards, and will provide our own Red Cross certified lifeguards and helpers.

  • Our swimming hole is a spring fed, sand bottom, man-made pond which is treated year round so that it remains a sand bottom swimming pool. It features a 55' green tube water slide and a tarzan swing! Picnic shelters and beach volleyball courts are available on the white sand beach.

  • Guest groups can reserve the swimming hole in hour-long increments. We require you to hire one lifeguard per 25 people in the water up to 100 people. The shallow end is roped off for non-swimmers and gradually climbs to just 4' deep. Our deep end reaches 11' deep. Only swimmers should attempt the tarzan swing.

  • What would camp be without a big field and tons of outdoor activities? We have the space for almost any activity that you could dream up including field sports.

  • Our guest groups are welcome to request access to and / or instructions for any of our outdoor activities. We offer basketball, volleyball, bladderball, gaga ball, carpetball, human foosball, traversing wall, hiking trails, 9-square-in-the-air, miniature golf, disc golf, ladder bolos, jungle gym, swings, a playground etc.!

  • Upon special request, we will provide equipment and instructors for shooting sports such as sporting clays, archery, slingshots, and pellet guns as well.
